As we went down the mountain it was still really cold but, no snow.

A shot of our rental car at the overlook!
We stopped at a scenic overlook stop and took a couple of pictures. You can see the terrain is changing again. We're out of the trees and it's more desert again.
Last shot of the rock formation before we leave
It was a nice stop. It had been a while since the Ventano de Diablo.
There was a stop off by the rock formation. There was a real pretty lake!
Cool rock formations coming up. It looked like there was a place to stop.
This part of Spain was so different than between Madrid and Cuenca. This was a forest!
We were amused by all the burning. Even the road crews were burning stuff.
You'll see as we drove through Spain the landscapes change from desert to lush vegetation.
We had tickets to see Rob Thomas at the Majestic Theater in San Antonio on July 11th. We decided to go on a mini road trip to get there. We left on Friday morning, took back roads, went to antique shops, saw oddities and wildflowers, stayed at the Hangar Hotel in Fredericksburg and made it to the concert Saturday night.
